Rooting Out Racism Registration

WHAT:
Service to Justice welcomes you to participate in our Rooting Out Racism training. This immersive training is anchored in the transformative power of people in social service and advocacy organizations.  Grounded in anti-racism praxis, arts, culture and tradition, this training creates shared knowledge, a common framework, and embodied experiences that support the collective reimagining and reshaping of non-profits.

WHO:
This Rooting Out Racism training is open to the public. It is especially geared to individuals in movement spaces, in advocacy spaces, in the service industry, and in non profit organizations who want to deepen their engagement with anti-racism and liberation methodologies. We encourage groups of folks who are in community with each other to register together.

WHEN:
Each session builds on the other. Please try your best to commit to all four sessions.

DETAILS:
We ask people to attend the whole training series. Our online version consists of four, three hour sessions with additional work to complete outside of active sessions. We offer a separate Rooting Out Racism training for white folks and one for BIPOC folks. Please self identify and indicate below which one you’ll attend.


COST:
S2J uses a pay equity model within our team, distributing resources among our team based on need, and want to support you in joining us in this approach to collective liberation. Please consider what you and/or your organization (professional development funds can be a great resource here) can contribute to this offering and pay accordingly. Organizations should be paying for staff attendance through professional development funds or other training budget items.  Reach out if you need support in advocating for your organization to send you. The true cost of this training is $800 per person and we offer the below sliding scale.

$1,200 - For organizations and individuals who want to sponsor
$800 - True cost for individuals and organizations
$400 - Reduced cost for organizations and individuals with limited budgets
