We use negotiations, investigations, peaceful direct actions, and innovative campaigning methods to expose the suffering of animals in factory farms.
About the position:
Are you a Human Resources or Operations Professional who’s passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion? If so, this may be the career connection for you. Sinergia Animal is seeking a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion manager to help us oversee our operations and cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment for all our collaborators. The DEI and Operations Manager will be responsible for recognizing, creating, and implementing plans to promote diversity within the organization and helping oversee budgeting, and reporting.
Establishing and infusing diversity and inclusion excellence as core values throughout all aspects of the organization.
Assessing, and developing policies, education, and training that promote inclusion, diversity, and equality among the team members.
Creating and leading training sessions on diversity, inclusion, and the prevention of bullying, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of actions taken to improve culture.
Ability to oversee budgeting, and reporting.
Researching and advising on diversity and inclusion issues and creating programs, training, and values around this.
Partnering with the Communications team to revise and update all communication on our website, social media pages, job descriptions, and internal documents to ensure we use inclusive and respectful language and create a brand that appeals to diverse applicants and removes bias.
Identifying external trends and recognizing best practices which will increase diversity and an empathic working culture among the collaborators.
Fluent or advanced English and Spanish are indispensable;
Solid experience in HR, DEI and Operations roles;
Solid experience in conflict resolution;
Solid experience in financial management and reports;
Previous experience with NGOs is desirable.
Excellent multitasking and time-management skills;
Critical thinking and problem-solving;
A great team player, but can also do the job independently;

An affinity with animal rights issues and vegan lifestyle is highly desirable;
