Volunteer at FareStart with Careers for Social Impact!
Join us to volunteer on Sunday, January 26 at FareStart, a non-profit, social entrepreneurial organization in Seattle that helps people in poverty escape the cycle and overcome barriers by teaching them skills they need to succeed in the food service industry and in life. More than 90% of FareStart adult culinary graduates land good jobs within 90 days of completing the program. Learn more about their work at
During this event, we'll help FareStart's chef instructors and students prepare meals in their Community Meals kitchen. No experience required, so roll up your sleeves and put on that apron - this is going to be a great hands-on volunteer experience and an opportunity to connect with other social impact professionals while giving back to your community.
This event is limited to 12 participants, so please sign up if you are committed to attend. All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
-Time: Sunday, January 26th from 10 am - 3 pm
