Who are we?

The L&DC is a group of climate policy and art and cultural practitioners, researchers, scientists and engineers, activists, lawyers, advocates and decision makers from both the global North and South working together to ensure that vulnerable developing countries, and the vulnerable people, communities, ecosystems and species within them, have the support they need to address climate change related loss and damage.

As indicated above there are a number of working groups that you can join without becoming an L&DC member. To do so please contact the coordinators listed above.

Membership Guidelines

The L&DC currently has a membership of nearly 300 individuals. Members of the L&DC engage in their personal capacity. Therefore individuals are members of the L&DC, not institutions or organisations. In light of this, we do not make public a list of members nor of the institutions or organisations that they represent. Our aim is to provide a platform for coordination across stakeholders working on Loss and Damage so we welcome anyone working on Loss and Damage with a focus on supporting developing countries and frontline communities within them.
