Governance & Policy Project-KP Background Survey
The objective of this brief questionnaire is to understand the attitudes of citizens of KP toward the state and specifically the KP Ombudsman. This questionnaire will help assess how citizens interact with local institutions and state institutions, their level of trust of the state, and if these attitudes have changed in the recent past. It also attempts to assess the familiarity of people with the provincial Ombudsman’s function, and the perception of citizens regarding its performance.
This questionnaire will provide the useful background information for further fieldwork in the province and will also help in designing the Citizens Report Cards planned by the Ombudsman.
Project Implementation Unit of the Governance Support Project will conduct this survey. The questionnaire should be directed to the citizens of KP (not just the beneficiaries of Ombudsman services).
