OPTISCAN IMAGE COMPETITION 2018
The Optiscan Image Competition 2018 is run by Light Microscopy Australia (LMA), a special interest group of the Australian Microscopy & Microanalysis Society (AMMS). The competition is open to all LMA members and/or IMC19 registrants.
All sections of this application form need to be completed, and you need to agree to abide by the rules of the Competition (see below). This form will allow you to upload your image or video/movie. You may submit up to 3 images (which will require you filling in the form 3 times) and/or 1 video taken using an optical microscope (e.g. brightfield, fluorescence, advanced optical imaging, including live or intravital Microscopy). Prizes will be awarded to the best images and video submitted. This competition is very kindly sponsored by Optiscan.
Now accepting entries up until 5pm AEST Friday 17th August 2018. Late entries will not be accepted.
One of last year's winning images, taken by Arthur Chien, (Microscopy Unit, Macquarie University): Moment in the Brain - Microglia and neurons cells in the hippocampus. Image was captured using a confocal microscope. The varying colours reflect the cells at different position within the brain.

SUBMIT your IMAGE to Google drive. The image must in TIFF or PDF format, at high pixel resolution (original, at least 1024 x1024).
SUBMIT your video to Googledrive. The video must be in common video format (avi, mpg, mov, wmv, up to 100MB).
Never submit passwords through Google Forms.
