Wilmot Destination Imagination Interest Form (2025-2026)

Dear Parents,

We are excited to continue Destination Imagination (DI) at Wilmot Elementary! DI is a program that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. To help us assess interest, please take a moment to fill out this short survey. Vist this site for great information and FAQs!

Teams form and begin meeting between August and January. They typically spend 2-6 months developing their Team Challenge solutions and practicing Instant Challenges. Each season is aligned with the Northern Hemisphere academic calendar.  Most local tournaments take place between February and April (see dates below). For teams that qualify for Global Finals, their season may extend into May of each year.

Colorado Specific Dates:

  • Date TBD (typically late January)- Jeffco Instant Challenge Day. This is a good event to practice your team's problem solving skills.
  • A Saturday in March- Jeffco Tournament
  • A Saturday in April- State Tournament
