What category does your presentation best fit? *

We understand that some panels may fall under multiple genres, but please choose the one you feel fits best.

ANIME & MANGA: Your favorite Japanese animated films, series, and graphic novels are the focus of your presentation.

ASIAN CULTURE: This category covers a variety of topics related to Asian culture, including food, daily life, customs, and traditions. It also includes modern pop culture from Korea, Japan, China, and other parts of Asia, such as K-dramas and other content that showcases Eastern entertainment.

COSPLAY: Cosplay is for everyone, and showcasing the culture in new, creative ways sparks excitement in fandom! Topics can range from costume creation to maintaining your brand as a cosplayer.

FASHION: This includes programming focused on fashion connected to Asian and geek culture, including EGL, J-Fashion, collectible clothing, kimonos, cosplay-adjacent fashion, styling, history, and related workshops or discussions.

INDUSTRY: Programming focused on the professional side of fandom and entertainment, including voice acting, convention and festival hosting, film and television production, event production, behind-the-scenes work, and related topics.

MUSIC: Performance or dance-based panels and workshops connected to geek culture fall into this category, including K-pop Random Play Dances. Note: If you are interested in presenting a singing or dancing performance on stage, we recommend applying as Featured Talent or submitting yourself for consideration for IdolFest.

TABLETOP GAMING: Presentations about board, card, and all manner of tabletop games are welcome. This can range from the creative development process to demonstrations and more. Note: If you're interested hosting games in our Tabletop Game Room, that is a separate application. You can find that information here.

VIDEO GAMES: Digital gaming is a massive part of modern entertainment. Topics here include everything from genres and platforms to streaming, cultural impact, and more.

What type of presentation would you like to host? *
WasabiCon offers a variety of rooms and stages for presentations, so let us know which you feel best fits yours.

PANELS: A seminar-style presentation where you appear at a head table facing an audience with theater-style seating. Example: Intro to Anime

STAGE: A space with a stage and audio, but no video, where you can host for a standing-room-only audience. Example: K-pop RPDs.

WORKSHOPS: A room with a head table facing a group of tables where attendees observe you leading an instruction-based presentation. Example: Gunpla Building
What audience is this panel for? *
Please specify the age range of the audience your content would be appropriate for.

ALL AGES: This presentation is appropriate for attendees of all ages. Example: My Neighbor Totoro

TEEN OR OLDER: This presentation has some older or mature themes. You’ll cover topics that aren’t suitable for younger fans but are still appropriate for a general audience. The MPAA would consider this "PG-13" content. Example: My Hero Academia

MATURE: This is a presentation for attendees ages 18 and older. You understand that you will need to check IDs at the door, and this can only be included if we opt to host evening content after 8:00 PM. Example: Attack on Titan
What days of the convention are you available to host programming? *
