Farm Field Trip Volunteer Educator Sign-up: Thanks for your interest in Schoolyard Farms!
Schoolyard Farms is seeking Friday Farm Field Trip Volunteer Educators to lead hands-on learning stations teaching the ecology and stewardship of Soil, Water, and Food! Come inspire K-6th graders to take good care of themselves, each other, and our world. Rain or shine! Training in sustainable agriculture practices, experiential education, and sharing nature with children is provided as we go through each farm and garden-based learning station together.

All volunteers must: attend a volunteer training, be available to volunteer during at least two field trips, be willing to submit a background check form, and collaborate with staff to track your earned hours. Your hours count! We encourage volunteers to earn Community Based-Learning hours at Schoolyard Farms and/or make arrangements for coursework credit. Share with us your learning goals, and take pride in the gifts and talents you contribute to our growing volunteer community!

All trainings and field trips are held on our one-acre mini-production schoolyard farm at:
Candy Lane Elementary School
5901 SE Hull Ave, Milwaukie, OR 97267.

Thank you for signing up for as many field trips as you are able to volunteer, and one required training.

We look forward to teaching and learning with you!
