Please use this form to request co-sponsorship support from the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at NYU. Co-sponsorship usually takes the form of modest funds and/or marketing support for public programs, exhibitions, conferences, and other special events.

A/P/A Institute does not co-sponsor events that conflict with already scheduled programs, and does not offer staffing support for non-A/P/A Institute presented events.

Our programming theme for the 2023-24 academic year is "Learning as We Go."

What does it mean to learn and teach as and about Asian/Pacific Americans? Attacks on critical race theory, diversity, inclusion and equity efforts, and academic freedom pose difficult challenges for teachers and students across the country at the current moment. Yet education takes many forms and avenues, well beyond academic institutions and classrooms, and this has been especially true in struggles for racial justice. In the academic year 2023-24, we pay careful attention to the pedagogies and knowledge that our community has cultivated and shares with one another and to others across the nation and the globe.

Programs that directly address this theme will be given priority. Please note that the completion of this form does not guarantee co-sponsorship.
