D1070 Rotary Youth Exchange - Register your initial interest
Hello,

Thank you for enquiring or perhaps for responding to a recent talk about Rotary's brilliant global Youth Exchange Programme.

Please complete and submit the form below as soon as possible so we can progress your enquiry and pass you on to a prospective sponsor Rotary Club in your locality who will then contact you to arrange an interview with you and your family, at home. This will be to ensure you are all aware of our programme options and allows us to answer your questions and enable you to 'REgister' your interest officially.

Sponsorships may be limited, so please don't delay your reply. Equally if you decide at any stage that it is not for you please let us know as soon as possible.

N.B. IT IS A MANDATORY CONDITION OF PARTICIPATION IN ANY ROTARY EXCHANGE THAT EVERY CANDIDATE ATTENDS THE OUTBOUND ORIENTATION OR IS ORIENTED. THERE CAN BE NO EXCEPTIONS. NO ORIENTATION means NO TRAVEL.

Your answer
Do you accept that you may need to change planes en route to your destination?
What ever Exchange Option you choose you may find your travel will require you to transfer flights en route. If you do a STEP your exchnage partner will probably do the transfer with you but if transferring is a worry please dont apply?
Your answer
Do you accept that Rotary will be responsible for you from your arrival in the destination country until your departure and that breaks during the 12 week/3 month placement are not permitted for academic, experiential and employer relationship reasons. *
Our aim is to ensure you have the best chance to lift your vocation to Level 3 in Experiential learning terms.
Do you smoke? *
In the current world smoking is less acceptable and finding hosts for you who will allow smoking can be problematic. That such an apparently small matter can be terminal to your aspirations would be sad but cannot be ignored. So we ask you in answering this question to recognise that you are committing NOT TO SMOKE during your exchange.
Insurance *
SAS you may imagine with 9000 or so young people doing Exchanges across the world annually Rotary is aware of the risks involved and has experience of covering them. Rotary International requires Rotary Exchange candidates to have their own cover for a carefully stipulated range of circumstances and for specified levels of cover.(Please ask for the leaflet/page which sets down the requirement) Our link at STA Travel is able to provide the precise cover you will need and may be able to help you secure student travel concessions, flights etc.
