Training Interest: Integrated Monarch Monitoring Program (IMMP)
The monarch population has seriously declined over the last twenty years. To protect these beautiful, iconic pollinators, it is crucial that we understand their distribution, habitat availability, and habitat quality. Community scientists, land managers, and researchers are all truly vital to this effort; researchers alone cannot cover enough ground to capture the information that is needed, so we need an all-hands-on-deck approach to conserving and monitoring monarchs. Your contributions will aid in conserving monarchs and their threatened migratory phenomenon, and will inform local, regional, and national conservation efforts.
