TGC Library Instruction Session Request Form
Thank you for your interest in scheduling a library instruction session for your TGC class. Instruction for TGC courses introduces students to college-level research skills and prepares them to use Jenks Library resources. The goal is teach transferable research skills students can use throughout their college careers and beyond. Students will engage critically with information by exploring the New York Times Magazine article "Choosing a School for My Daughter in a Segregated City" by Nikole Hannah-Jones. Please be sure all students have read this article, and if possible bring a hard copy with them to the day of the instruction session. A pre-assignment you might considering givnig to them in preparation for the session is to look back through the article and highlight any instances where Hannah-Jones specifically references research or outside information.

If you have any questions, please contact me by email erica.street@gordon.edu or by phone 978.867.4345. After you submit the request I will follow-up with you to confirm the date and time. I look forward to working with you.
