We have several volunteer opportunities to choose from!
There are a number of great volunteer opportunities at one•n•ten. Here is a list of possible volunteering roles, with our volunteer needs and opportunities marked as low, medium or high need.

WEEKLY PROGRAM VOLUNTEER--Need level: Low

Weekly program volunteers work at our Youth Center and Satellites in Central Phoenix, Mesa, Glendale, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, Flagstaff and Prescott. We ask our weekly program volunteers to commit to volunteering for at least 6 months, with the ability to attend group once a week for 2-4 hours.

OUTREACH TEAM--Need level: Medium
We work hard to make our services as accessible as possible to all youth, and the best way to do this is to make sure that young folk know about who we are and what we do! Our outreach team will focus on tabling in schools and at community organizations, volunteering at events and festivals, flyering, and coming up with other innovative ways to engage youth in one•n•ten programs.

PROGRAM FACILITATOR--Need level: High
Are you a Tai Chi instructor? An artist? An Organizer? Culinary expert? We are always looking for special guests to come into our programs to conduct short classes and program presentations at our Youth Center, Satellites, POND Housing program, Queer Blended Learning Center (QBLC) and other special groups.

YOUTH CENTER BEHIND THE SCENES CREW--Need level: High
Our beloved Youth Center is actively used. That's why every week we need a couple of volunteers to come in and help us with behind the scenes. Our behind the scenes opportunities are as follows:

DONATIONS: Our downtown phoenix location receives lots of donation drop offs every week to provide our youth with clothing, hygiene products and other necessities. We can use additional hands sorting and organizing the items brought to our youth center. We ask that donation volunteers be available for 2-4 hours per week.

ADMINISTRATION (WEEKLY): Our administration can use your help! We are looking for volunteers to help with answering phones, filing paperwork, and taking inventory of essentials we needs. We ask that weekly administrative volunteers be available for 2-4 hours per week.

ADMINISTRATION (SEASONAL): When the holiday season rolls around, we can use the extra hands! We have fun events for our youth every season from Fall Feast to Queermas. Come help us during our busiest time of the year! Can’t help during the holiday season? Hands are also needed to assist the office manager with our fundraising events. We ask our seasonal administration volunteers to commit to volunteering at one of our 3 month seasonal options: November to February or July to September, with the ability to volunteer 1-2 times per week for 2-4 hours.

INCREDIBLE CREW: Come show off your culinary skills! Our youth love fresh home cooked meals prepared for them daily. Our downtown phoenix youth center has a fully equipped kitchen, available for your cooking needs. No need to bring in food. All food will be provided! We ask volunteers to prepare food in our kitchen before our youth center opens to ensure it is available once we open for the night.
