I have had the opportunity to assist and give feedback in the development of building faculty and staff capacity on the topics of: The value and utility of contributions of parents, How to reach out to communicate with, and work with parents as equal partners, Implement and coordinate parent programs, How to build ties between parents and the school, Coordination and integration of parents and family engagement activities, Sending information to parents in a language and format that parents can understand, and Partnering with parents in the academic achievements of their children.
