The City of Kisumu Urban Areas Association (CKUAA) is founded pursuant to section 13(2)(e) of the Urban Areas and Cities Act 13/2011 laws of the Republic of Kenya and is dully registered under the Societies Act Cap 108 Laws of Kenya as a Non-Religious, Non-Political and Not-For-Profit making welfare organization whose Mission is to transform the City of Kisumu, through collaborative partnership, into a better place to live, work and visit.
CKUAA wishes to implement a comprehensive modern urban farming system in the City of Kisumu in a bid to transform the City into a violence-free and food-secure City in line with the objectives of the New Urban Agenda (Quito 2016) and the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact (2015).
We therefore wish to assess the preferences and attitude towards urban farming in the City of Kisumu and plead with you to take the survey that may last only 5 - 7 minutes only. The information captured shall be used for the purposes of the survey only and shall be treated with CONFIDENTIALITY.
