"Mother, And" is a heartfelt collaboration between the Orange County Rape Crisis Center (OCRCC) and The Jackson Center, created to hold space for BIPOC women across generations to come together, share their stories, and support one another. Rooted in community care and cultural wisdom, this space invites connection, healing, and reflection on how trauma, resilience, and love move through our families and histories.
Through storytelling, guided conversation, and community-led facilitation, we’ll explore meaningful topics like bodily autonomy, early messages around sex, consent, family and societal expectations, and the ways we nurture one another and ourselves. Together, we’ll learn from each other, reflect on what we carry, and grow tools for healing, empowerment, and self-awareness.
Each gathering will be supported by Circle Keepers who gently guide our conversations, helping to create a space where all voices feel seen, heard, and held with care.
