WPEN RSVP for JUNE 4 PUBLIC HEARING of the Blue Ribbon Commission on School Funding - MADISON

WHEN: Monday, JUNE 4, 2018, 9am at the State Capitol! PLEASE ARRIVE BY 8AM TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR WPEN ACTION!

8:00 press event will be held in Room 328 NW

WHERE: Wisconsin State Capitol in the Joint Finance Room (412 East).

WHAT: Public Hearing of the Blue Ribbon Commission on School Funding. The Madison hearing will encompass both informational and public hearing portions. The informational hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. with invited speakers, including representatives from University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wisconsin School Administrators Alliance, Education Commission of the States, and EdBuild. The public hearing will start at 1:00 p.m. or following the conclusion of the informational hearing. Members of the public are invited to testify during the public hearing and this portion will conclude by 5:00 p.m.

“Following the presentations, members of the public are invited to speak and share their thoughts. To ensure all of those in attendance are able to be heard, public testimony will be limited to 5 minutes.”

WHO: All Network partners and supporters of Wisconsin public schools are encouraged to attend, whether you intend to testify or simply observe the proceedings.
