Come mālama ʻāina at UH Mānoa!
Tasks may include pulling weeds, trimming back plants, potting up seedlings, mulching, learning to identify common plant species found in Hawaiʻi, and having tons of fun!
Lunch is provided.
When: Saturdays OR Sundays, 9:00am-12:00pm (feel free to come anytime during this period)
Where: St. John Plant Science Lab (3190 Maile Way, Honolulu, HI 96822)*
*We will meet at 8:50am on the steps of St. John to do introductions then walk over to the service site together. If you come later, call 808-594-8392 for directions to the site.
Additional information:
Parking on campus is free on Saturdays and Sundays!
Don't forget to bring water
Bring your own gloves and gardening tools, if you have them
Recommended attire: long pants, long sleeve shirts, shoes you don't mind getting dirty, and hats
