Thanks for taking the time to report an incident or near miss on a trip you were on. Having an idea of what happens on the trips is very helpful to our safety team. We are very unlikely to restrict trips based off incidents occurring, we are gathering information so we can know where to focus our educational efforts.
Incidents include minor things like rolled ankles and wasp stings (essentially if you’re pulling out a first aid kit- report it) as well as having to use alternative tracks, turn around early etc.
Near misses are areas where someone could have been hurt, for example a group member being ill prepared for the conditions, not declaring medical conditions etc.
You do not need to “name names” or call anyone out, you are welcome to submit this form anonymously if you would like.
