On the 20th anniversary of the 2004 coup in Haiti that overthrew the democratically elected administration of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide and the Fanmi Lavalas Party, we commemorate the continued resistance of Haiti’s grassroots movement with a teach-in on the connections between the fights for liberation in Haiti and in Palestine and the role that U.S Imperialism has played in these struggles.

We will first get a historical situationer before listening to a discussion between organizers from Samidoun Prisoner Solidarity Network and the Haiti Action Committee.
