2021/22 Application for Graduation
You must complete this application to graduate, even if you do not plan to attend the Commencement ceremony.

Please note: Participating in a commencement ceremony does not mean that you have graduated. Your degree is conferred by the Registrar’s office in Banner and will be viewable on your Official Transcript, which is the document of record for all degrees conferred.

After successfully completing your application, you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep that email for your records.

You will be informed about missing requirements, cap and gown pickup, and any changes only via your official NVCC email account. Please check your NVCC email frequently and respond promptly.

For May 2021 Commencement !!!!!!!! If you submit your application late (after March 15th), you will not be permitted to attend the commencement ceremony because of ticket limitations, cap and gown ordering timelines, and printing deadlines for the program.

All diplomas will be mailed to your current mailing address 6 to 8 weeks after conferral date.

Students that started on or after Fall 2015: Please review your detailed Degree Works audit on myCommNet. Instructions: Once you have logged into myCommNet you will see the Degree works portal with links to the college (or colleges) where you have a student record. Please see your advisor for details. If your faculty advisor is unavailable, please contact the Center for Academic Planning & Student Success (CAPSS) at 203-575-8025. capss@nvcc.commnet.edu
