Volunteers have opportunities to join in any one of several efforts to make our church function and serve others.
Hospitality: Volunteers will welcome and assist others. I, along with others, can:
Help with parking
Serve as an usher or greeter.
Prepare information materials for visitors.
Serve Refreshments after Worship (bring snacks for 50-60 people)
Prepare meals for Youth Group (typically 10-15 youth)
Help as an office assistant occasionally.
Help with the weekday Ready, Set Grow Preschool in the church building.
Volunteer at the Beatitudes (formerly ReStore)
Volunteer at the Ada Food Pantry
Education and Social Meetings: Volunteers will assist with lessons, programs, and activities. I, along with others, can help with:

Youth Group (9th - 12th Grade, on Sunday evenings)
Young Adult (College Age)
Adult Bible Study (often Sunday at 9 am)
OWLS (Older Wiser Living Saints, on the third Wed. for lunch, a program, and fellowship)

Sing in the Chancel Choir (meets Thursday evenings for rehearsal)
Serve as a Liturgist

Help Anna Yoakum with the instruction of children's church, for preschool through 4th grade
Help with others to prepare the bread and juice for Communion
Provide altar flowers for a Sunday
Sponsor the weekly radio broadcast ($35 per Sunday)
Committees: The church has an organizational structure to help it accomplish its vision. I am interested in joining:
Staff/Parish Relations Committee (Meets every other month to handle personnel-related matters)
Worship Team (Meets every other month to create special worship services with the pastor)
Trustees Committee (Meets every other month to maintain the building safety, policies, and fiduciary matters)
Stewardship Team (active in the early fall to prepare annual stewardship campaign)
Endowment (Meets quarterly to provide oversight to the church endowment investments.)
Finance Committee (Meets every other month to review budget, income, and expense information)
