Hispanic / Latinx Heritage Month - Open Mic Sign-Up
The Latino Employee Resource Group, Global Languages,  Hermanas Unidas, MIT Mexico, the Sloan School Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Mujeres Latinas, MIT Brazil, and the MIT Libraries are hosting an Open Mic Night to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!

Open Mic is dedicated to sharing stories by Latinx writers, to get to know more about the richness of the Latinx Culture, to enjoy it, and celebrate it!  We are inviting the MIT community to come and share your favorite Latinx book/author, with a 3 minute reading in any language.  We are also inviting everyone to come and listen to these readings.  This event is open and free to all members of the MIT Community.

When: October 13, 2022 at 5:30 pm
Where: Hayden Library Nexus, 14S-130

Are you available to read on Thursday, 10/13 at 5:30pm in 14S-130?

Please write the book's author and title that you will use for the reading, so we can do a proper introduction. We also would like to have a copy on hand in case someone falls in love with it and wants to read it.
How would you like us to introduce you when we call you up? It can be anything! What you had for lunch, your class year and major, a fun fact about yourself, etc.
