The Collective Success Network is building a new platform in Philadelphia for professionals and companies to support and mentor college students from disadvantaged backgrounds who may also be the first generation in their family to attend college. This initiative is a collaboration between professionals and students leading local campus organizations for first-generation college students.
Our initial goal is to recruit 200 professionals and 200 students to sign up. We plan to formally begin programming in the 2017-2018 calendar year.

a. Executive Sponsors - for senior leaders at a company or organization to support this cause by helping make connections, rally support, raising funds, and providing sponsorship for events. Executive sponsors may also be asked to speak at student events. Expected time commitment: ~12 hours / year. Need to be based in the greater Philadelphia area.
b. Steering Committee - for professionals who are passionate about this cause and want to play a leadership role in defining the organization's key priorities and in implementing programs. Expected time commitment: ~30+ hours / year. Need to be based in the greater Philadelphia area.
c. Advocate - for professionals who are passionate about this cause but have limited bandwidth. Advocates would help spread the word among their networks and recruit more members as well as participate in events for students, per availability. Expected time commitment: ~12 hours / year.
