Background:
Last week Trump called for nationalizing elections. Bannon called for ICE to surround polling stations in Nov. And the White House is laying groundwork right now for seizing control of elections - with the FBI snatching voting records in Alabama, DOJ suing for state voter rolls across the country, and AG Bondi trying to extort it from Minnesota.
The Trump/Bannon threats remind us that ICE/CBP is ready and able to act as Trump’s personal army and seize control of elections, thanks to billions pouring in from Congress. If Congress proceeds with funding this massive, dangerous ICE/CBP army, Congress is effectively funding the makings of a coup.
ACTION:
Contact your Congress members now. Tell them: Do not fund the storm troops terrorizing our communities, and which may be used to surround our polling stations in November.

Congress must act now:
  1. No ICE funding in HR 1747, the DHS appropriation bill on the table right now.
  2. Separately, redirect the massive, dangerous and unnecessary supplemental $140 Billion already appropriated to ICE/CBP (in the “Big Beautiful bill”) to create Medicare for All.
