Bless this Mess Childcare Form: Fri. Nov. 15
Come join a discussion centered on the new book "Bless this Mess: A Modern Guide to Faith and Parenting in a Chaotic World," by Rev. Molly Baskette and Ellen O'Donnell. Childcare and a simple meal will be provided by Williams students and church volunteers, while parents gather at The Log for a couple of hours to relax and recharge—drawing inspiration from the lessons in this constructive and insightful book on progressive, spiritual parenting today.
Session 2: Friday, November 15, 5:30–7:30 pm at The Log
Session 3: Friday, December 13
Childcare for children ages 3-12: drop-off starts at 5:15 pm at the church; pick-up by 7:45 pm
Copies of the book are available at the College Bookstore.
For session 1, read Chapter 1: "Spiritual and Progressive Parenting, Not an Oxymoron."
For session 2, read Chapters 2 & 5: "Spare the Rod and Spark the Child: A New Parenting Proverb" and "How Much Is Enough? How to Talk to Kids about Money and Stuff"
Invite a friend! This group is open to people of all faiths, or anyone who might enjoy talking about the intersection of spirituality and parenting (aka, the hardest job you'll ever face!)
