We aim at internalizing postgraduate students in new technologies and biological models applied to the study of pathogens (virus, bacteria, algae, fungus, protozoans, helminths) by whole genome data. Different sessions will focus on theoretical concepts of the study of genomes and transcripts of organisms of different taxonomic groups and search of biomolecules of biotechnological interest. Additionally, a strong emphasis will be applied to the available biological models to cope with the study of different gene products. For the diagnosis of infectious diseases, strategies focused on molecules essential for the development and differentiation and control of pathogens and the search and detection of molecules that allow the early diagnosis and evolution of the disease will be addressed.
