This is the submission form for the 2020 Washington County Youth Creative Writing Contest. The contest is open to any youth in 1st-12th grades who live in Washington County, Utah

CONTEST THEME: "ON THE TRAIL"
This theme can be interpreted literally, writing about a time when the student is "on the trail" exploring something enjoyable, or it can be interpreted figuratively, writing about a time when the student is "on the trail" accomplishing something grand.

CATEGORIES:
POETRY - Poems can be in any form, rhymed or free verse, but must be 30 lines or fewer
PERSONAL ESSAY - Prose not to exceed 300 words

AGE DIVISIONS:
Division 1 - 1st-3rd grades
Division 2 - 4th-6th grades
Division 3 - 7th-9th grades
Division 4 - 10th-12th grades

Contest entry deadline is Friday, April 17, 2020. Teachers will be notified about the winners. Details on the awards ceremony will be forthcoming.
