SHARA Sister's Healing and Rising Through Adversity Interest/Enrollment Form
Through collaboration of three black led organizations based in the Antelope Valley (Luna Sol Yoga, Youth Leadership Coalition and Ohana Center AV), this program will provide holistic and culturally congruent services that promote healthy connections to children, family, significant others, and the community. Services will address substance use disorder, trauma, and mental illness by providing the participants with resources, opportunities, knowledge, and coping skills needed to improve self-sufficiency and reduce recidivism. The target program demographic is BIPOC women who have justice involvement within the past two years.
