Holy Week Volunteers
Liturgy is the work of the people, and that is certainly true during Holy Week! Many of the rituals during this sacred time only happen once a year, and we are in need of many volunteers to make them happen! Several options are kid- or family-friendly. Some are not! I have listed what responsibilities will need to take place during the various time frames so that you are properly informed.

Palm Sunday
We need 8-10 volunteers on Saturday, April 13 at 9:30am.

We also need 6-10 volunteers on Sunday, April 14 at 9:15am to help prepare for the outdoor Palm Sunday procession starting at the school gym for the 10:00am Mass.


Saturday Responsibilities (9:30am)
- Separate and divide palms for different Mass times
- Arrange palm branches in the church (ie. on the processional cross)
- Hang red banners on back wall, drape red cloth on cross with the lift
- Set out worship aids in baskets
- Arrange red flowers
- Set up tables with tablecloths for worship aids and palms in the school gym

Sunday Responsibilities (9:15am)
- Set up sound system outside
- Bring baskets of worship aids and palms to the school gym
- Serve as extra Hospitality Ministers outside
(directing people to the school entrance, hand out worship aids and palms, help direct procession)
