micro:bit for artists
Hi I'm Les, a maker and writer based in Blackpool. I specialise in helping children and adults to learn more about computing, electronics and tinkering via a free monthly Raspberry Jam, an event for people who have Raspberry Pi computers, which takes places each month at Palatine Library and has been running since 2014 and has helped hundreds of children to learn about computing. I run this Jam completely free of charge, with my time and the venue donated freely in order to help the community.

I have a small quantity of micro:bit boards, similar to Raspberry Pi computers but much easier to get started with and they can be easily embedded in a long running project.

I would love to offer a **FREE** workshop for artists / makers / musicians who are willing to integrate micro:bit into their work and document the process via a blog / YouTube video.
