Any information withheld in this application will result in an automatic denial. 
If your application is approved, you will be contacted by email or text message to proceed with a meet and greet. If there is not a dog you are immediately interested in, your application will be kept on file for 1 year. We no longer offer pre-approval, so if the dog listed is not available, your application will not be processed. If you have previously submitted an application and see a new dog you are interested in, please email us and we will proceed with your original application. 

Be advised that you will not be contacted if your application is denied. If you have not heard from us and are questioning why, feel free to send us an email to inquire. 

Please DO NOT apply if you are not ready to bring a dog home within the next 2-3 weeks, as we cannot hold a dog for an adopter for longer than that. It is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications, and we ask that you are sure now is a good time for you to adopt BEFORE applying. 

We do not adopt to Canada. Long distance adoptions within the US are considered at the adopters expense. Please email us to discuss our long distance adoption process further as there are extra stipulations.

Adoption Agreement
Please understand, a rescue dog may have experienced an unfortunate history. Some of these dogs have been neglected, abused, and/or abandoned and may continue to experience insecurity and/or distrust. A period of adjustment (weeks for some, months for others) is to be expected in most instances. Patience is essential when adopting a rescue dog.

(hereby referred to as ‘the Rescue,’) is not responsible for the accuracy of information received about the temperament, habits, or physical condition of dogs available for adoption. The Rescue is neither liable nor responsible for any damage, injury, or accident resulting from the placement of this dog. I agree to accept the responsibilities for the health, housing, feeding, training, and companionship of this dog. I understand that if I can no longer keep this dog I MUST return him/her to the Rescue, NO EXCEPTIONS.
