MEDA Mission Techies Application
Thank you for your interest in the Mission Economic Development Agency's (MEDA) FREE Mission Techies program! This program is structured to train and expose community members to the technology field in order to attain employment and specialized training. Unfortunately, we only have space for 30 participants. With that in mind, we are using this application to assess the level of interest, availability and technological aptitude for interested applicants. All applicants will receive a email from our staff, afterwards.
Our goal is to train our community members with technology programs for free, without getting into expensive bootcamps. We aim for our students to succeed in technical careers or college level training.
Students will be introduced and trained into Programming (Coding) classes. Programming track will include Front-End, Back-End, HTML, CSS, Github, Terminal, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, MongoDB, Node, Express and Cloud9.
The class will also included IT support training for people interested in going into Hardware/Computer repair.
Due to constraint out of our hands, these two classes will be combined starting in January 2019, and the main focus will be Programming. (Curriculum/syllabus and schedule subject to change)
People interested in IT support are encourage to attend, since this is a great opportunity to learn the best of both worlds (Programming and IT support)

The program will start on January 14th 2019. The program trainings will be held Monday through Friday from 9:00AM - 1:00PM at 2301 Mission St Suite 203 San Francisco CA. All lectures will be held in English. For more information about the program, please visit our website at http://medasf.org/programs/mission-techies/.

NOTE: MEDA does not guarantee a paid or volunteer position after this program is completed. This program is the foundation for people who want to go into the tech field, or specialized at a higher education school.

Please contact Miguel Velasco at mvelasco@medasf.org for any questions.
