2019 Tribal Unity Impact Days
Thank you for RSVPing to the Annual Tribal Unity Impact Days event on September 10-11, 2019 in Washington, D.C. Impact Days is a great opportunity to hear from members of Congress regarding the work they are doing for Indian Country and for tribal leaders to advocate for tribal priorities on Capitol Hill.

On the morning of Tuesday, September 10, Congressional members will brief tribal leaders on the critical legislative issues currently affecting American Indians and Alaska Natives. The remainder of Tribal Unity Impact Days will consist of tribal advocacy meetings between tribal leaders and Congressional members and their staff. Topics for this year’s event will include restoring tribal homelands, Indian Country advance appropriations, Violence Against Women Act reauthorization, infrastructure, cultural protection, and other important issues.

The tribal leaders briefing will be held on September 10 in the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs hearing room - Dirksen Senate Office Building - Room 628. Check-in will begin at 8:30, and the event will commence at 9:00 a.m. and tentatively end at 1:00 p.m.
