Thank you for signing up for the 2025 Prairie Fox Books Children's Business Fair! This year we are setting up back in Washington Park, in Downtown Ottawa, from 10am-3pm, on Saturday, August 9th!

Our Junior Entrepreneurs will be able to work on their businesses over the summer so they are ready to set up their vendor booth at the Children's Business Fair 2025 and show the public what they have! The Fair is open to kids ages 5-15, and all kid booths must be supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. Products for each booth must be original items, created in part by the entrepreneur (we will not accept a booth with resale items, including items that have been purchased online at wholesale prices to be sold for profit without custom modifications). 

This Fair is about establishing a better understanding of the hard work that goes into all stages of running a business, from coming up with an idea, to creating a product/service, marketing your product, being a good manager (if you bring on employees!), and executing wonderful customer service. The kids will also get a better understanding of startup costs, budgeting, and basic business structure. Much like Lemonade Days, the Children's Business Fair is a great opportunity to learn while making some money of their own in the end. A great lesson in the hard work paying off.
