We welcome volunteers year round whether you are looking for a regular volunteer position or a one-off volunteer opportunity like our famous Earth Day Celebration event or our Farm to table Fundraiser. 

Volunteers are vital to CHRSC and help with a range of garden chores, special projects and big events. 

We have morning (8:00am to 12:00pm) and afternoon (2:30pm - 6:00pm) volunteer sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the garden. Prior registration is required for volunteering at CHRSC. 

Requirements: Volunteers should be able to bend, lift, carry heavy-ish items, handle small hand tools, follow multi-step directions, possess a can-do spirit, and maintain a cheerful and positive demeanor on our visitor-friendly, community garden and around our students in our classrooms or on field trips.
