Faculty Fellows of the Institute for Sustainable Solutions bring their expertise from the arts, engineering, business, urban planning, and a broad range of sciences to PSU’s collective effort to further research, teaching, and the practical application of sustainability for a more vital and resilient world and a better quality of life for all its inhabitants.
Faculty Fellows of ISS:
- Champion sustainability-related education and research within their departments and across the University.- Share information about sustainability priorities between the Institute and departments across the University. - Participate in a cross-disciplinary cohort of faculty that is engaged and collaborating with each other and with the broader Portland community.
The fine print: - The ISS Fellows program is available to fixed term, tenure-track, and tenured faculty with some exceptions made for longterm adjunct instructors. - Fellows are appointed for annual terms, with the option to renew each year. - Fellowship status is required to apply for ISS funding such as travel awards and research grants.
