The closed terrarium workshops are suitable for all ages. Participants not only get to make their own terrariums to bring home, they also learn about the history, types and benefits of terrariums. The instructor will also share a little science on the closed ecosystem inside the terrarium. The participants will be guided step by step in making a closed terrarium and taught how to maintain the terrariums. For this workshop, participants will be making a closed terrarium in a plastic bottle and decorating it with coloured pebbles, a house figurine and colourful ribbon.

During the workshop, participants will get a chance to learn about some simple design fundamentals like style, composition and layout.
