Spartanburg 2 employees may request to have their children transfer to a district school other than the one to which they are zoned. Employee Option transfers are subject to space availability.
The Transfer Request window is February 1-March 29, 2019 to receive consideration for district approved attendance transfers. The portal will close at 5pm on March 29, 2019 and no other submissions will be accepted due to staffing decisions that have to be made for the upcoming school year. If unforeseen circumstances arise, please contact Tabitha Talley , Office of Student Services to determine request process.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ONE FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR EACH CHILD. IF YOU ARE REQUESTING FOR MULTIPLE CHILDREN IN YOUR FAMILY/HOUSEHOLD, YOU MUST SUBMIT ONE FORM PER STUDENT.
All faculty living outside of D2 require a release letter from their home district. You do not need to submit this online form for transfer. Those letters go directly to the District Office, Office of Student Services. Once you receive an approved release letter, you will give the school a copy for their records. The release letter may be used to register your child if you are a faculty member in Spartanburg School District 2.
