Feedback Survey - Coordination, Collaboration, and Open Science in Synthetic Cell Research
This feedback form is part of the ongoing community engagement project with the synthetic cell research community conducted by Conscience. Conscience was hired to do this work by b.next. Conscience is an independent non-profit organization with expertise in open science and community engagement.

The purpose of this form is to enable members of the synthetic cell research community to provide feedback on the findings presented in the the first and second posts in our explainer series (linked here) summarizing our report on coordination, collaboration, open science, and the role of Nucleus and the synthetic cell field. Please read the explainer posts before filling out this survey. If you desire more detail on the findings or how the study was conducted you are encouraged to read the relevant section of the report.

Unless you explicitly choose otherwise below, any identifying information entered into this form (i.e., the demographic information below, including email) will NOT be shared with b.next. Your email is only requested to ensure that respondents are members of the synthetic cell community. Please use your professional/institutional email, if possible.

Conscience will use the information in this form to produce summary statistics and identify common themes, which will be shared with b.next through a report. All data received through this form will be securely held by Conscience and won't be sold or otherwise disclosed to any third party.

Only responses received before May 22, 2026 will be included in the report presented to b.next. Responses received after May 22 will be included in the final report to b.next at the end of Summer 2026.
