Emerging Visual Artists - Exhibition Application
A Professional Exhibition Opportunity for Emerging Visual Artists

The Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café and Gallery regularly showcases the art of emerging talents. The definition of an “emerging artist” is individuals with significant artistic potential yet lacking widespread recognition and in need of mentorship. We actively encourage applications from students and budding artists, striving to support the needs of our community's burgeoning artistic talent.

Application Procedure

Applications for Emerging Artists exhibitions must be processed through the Emerging Visual Artists Committee (EVAC) and will be added to the schedule in the order they are received.

To apply as an emerging artist, please fill out the application form provided and email us your current artist statement and/or exhibit proposal. Additionally, include 10-20 images of your work in both PDF or JPEG formats, with each file no larger than 3 MB. These images should represent the pieces you wish to display at the Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café & Gallery, accompanied by a description of each work. Alternatively, you may share your application content through a shareable link using platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.

Once your application is submitted, you will be contacted for more information.
