ROOM CHOICE WHILE ON BOARD THE SHIP FOR ANTARCTICA TOUR

Note that all cabins on our expedition ship are Twin Window rooms that are shared by two people. These are located on Deck 4. 

Each room includes: 1 window, 2 lower berths, a private shower and toilet, desk and chair, flatscreen TV, telephone and WiFi (additional cost), hair dryer and closet/storage space.

For an additional charge, you may upgrade to a Twin Deluxe that includes a double bed (rather than two twins), a sofa bed, a small refrigerator and a coffee and tea maker.

There are also cabins that can accommodate four people. If you are traveling with others whom you’d like to share a quadruple, please contact us for pricing. Note that these only have portholes and not full windows. 😉

TOUR COSTS and CANCELLATION CHARGES
TOUR COSTS FOR BUENOS AIRES

Tour costs: $2,365
Single supplement: $485

Tour price includes:  4 nights accommodation; sightseeing entrance fees; activities as outlined in itinerary; 7 meals; ground transportation as outlined in itinerary; guide and driver in Buenos Aires; tips for guide and driver in Buenos Aires.

Tour price does not include: Flights; visa for Argentina (if required); travel insurance (highly recommended); souvenirs and other personal purchases (such as snacks) and beverages.

This trip is limited to 15 people and requires an $800 deposit to secure your spot.


TOUR COSTS FOR ANTARCTICA

Tour costs: $14,620
Twin Deluxe room (ship only): $985 (total for two people)
Flight from Buenos Aires – Ushuaia if traveling with us in Buenos Aires: $300 (approximate)
Fuel surcharge (ship only): There MAY be a fuel surcharge added to the cost of the tour. See the FAQs for additional information.

Tour price includes: 11 nights accommodation; activities as outlined in itinerary; 31 meals; Antarctica permit; access to expedition ship staff throughout the ship journey; multiple lectures daily while on board the ship; tea, coffee, espresso drinks, water and snacks on board ship; all guided on-shore activities including kayaking, hiking, snowshoeing, photography workshop and overnight camping; loan of winter boots for on-shore activities; welcome gift bag with specially curated treats!

Tour price does not include: Flights; travel insurance (highly recommended); evacuation insurance (required by IAATO which oversees Antarctica); fuel surcharge (if applicable); appropriate clothing (such as down jacket); tips for expedition staff; some meals; souvenirs and other personal purchases (such as snacks) and beverages.

This trip is limited to 15 people and requires a $2,500 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot.


CANCELLATION CHARGES FOR BUENOS AIRES AND ANTARCTICA

To cancel your booking, you must submit your request to us in writing by emailing Teresa@WanderTours.com or postal mail at WanderTours, PO Box 16102, Seattle, WA 98116. Cancellation fees will be applied per person according to the following schedule, based on the date we receive your written notification:

*For Buenos Aires - more than 100 days prior to tour: Forfeiture of $400

*Antarctica deposit is non-refundable at the time of booking

*Final payment due August 13, 2024

*Cancellation after August, 13, 2024: Forfeiture of 100% of total price


No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a tour once the tour begins, including if you leave a tour for any reason or have to be removed from a tour. There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including for reasons related to weather, terrorism, civil strife, personal, family, or medical emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond our control.

TRAVEL, EVACUATION and CFAR INSURANCE

We encourage you to protect your investment in these tours by purchasing comprehensive insurance. Travel insurance covers cancellations due to a variety of issues but it may also cover baggage, medical, accident/life, evacuation, repatriation and other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience to you.

Note for those on Antarctica: IAATO requires that all passengers to Antarctica carry evacuation insurance with at least $100,000 of coverage. We will be checking that all participants have this prior to the start of the tour.

IMAGE RELEASE
You agree that WanderTours may use, re-use, and reproduce any images, photos or videos that you send to us, or that are taken by our guides and/or other travelers of you individually or in a group, in any medium, including but not limited to print, electronic media, or Internet, free of charge and without your right to inspection, for promoting and publicizing our travel products and services worldwide.

If you do not want us to use any images of you that are taken by us or other participants during the tour, you must inform us or your tour leader in writing at the start of the tour.

PAYMENT INFO
Each participant must fill out this form and send in the appropriate deposit. 

Complete and final payment is due no later than August 13, 2024.

The deposit amount listed on the website for this tour is required to secure your place on this tour. If your booking is made on or after August 13, 2024, the entire tour cost must be paid when we confirm the trip with you.

NOTE: If you pay your deposit by check, we cannot confirm your reservation until your payment has cleared the bank. Checks returned by the bank will incur a $25 returned check fee.
