The Inchture Area Community Council are gathering opinions on our area (Inchture, Baledgarno, Abernyte, Ballindean, Kinnaird, Rait, Kilspindie, Pitroddie, and in between). Be part of the plan and share your vision for our Community's future.  Do you want to save the Redwoods Avenue from flooding, or designate a greenspace for special protection, earmark an area for new housing development? Your voice matters.

Creating a plan for our local area is a powerful way for the community to connect, collaborate and influence the future. Perth and Kinross Council planning team will soon begin drafting the next 'Local Development Plan' 2028-2038 (a framework for making decisions on planning applications, conservation, environment and community needs). Now is our chance to contribute (or risk it will be decided upon without us).

The topics of the questionnaire are:

Development and Housing

🏡 Sites where the community would welcome the development of new housing, or improving community facilities.

Heritage and Conservation

🏰 Places or buildings which the community values and wishes to protect.

Parks and Recreation

🌱Proposals to tackle climate change, such as renewable energy, flood risk management and tree planting.

🌳 Sites for community projects such as food growing, community gardens, or recreational space.

Transport and Active Travel

🚲 Initiatives to improve and promote active travel and accessibility.

The Inchture Area 'Local Place Plan' is a document being researched and written by the Inchture Area Community Council from December 2025 - April 2026. Once verified and published by Perth and Kinross Council, the Local Place Plan may be used as a way finder to guide decision makers by platforming local opinion.

Questionnaire may take 15-20 minutes. All questions are optional. Answer as many or few as you like.
