Independent bookstores are different from your big chain bookstores like Barnes & Noble or Amazon because they are typically smaller, locally-owned stores with curated book selections and a focus on customer service and community. The purpose of this survey is to provide more detailed information to potential lenders regarding public interest in independent bookstores locally, as well as build our selection of books based on what those in our community prefer to read.
