Disorient presents: Country Club XIV: Presence and the Eternal Now --------------- Art Proposal Form 2026
Thank you for your desire to make art or host an event at Country Club!

We're looking for a wide range of creative submissions.

This year's theme is PRESENCE AND THE ETERNAL NOW

This year, we are devoted to the power of being here—fully, vividly, together.  We aspire to create space for immediacy and communing with the infinite.

Participants are invited to step out of linear time and into direct experience. Art is not presented as something to observe from a distance, but as something to enter, inhabit, and co-create. Each work unfolds in real time, encouraging heightened awareness—of the body, of one another, of the subtle emotional and sensory currents that arise only in the moment.  Luminous structures suspended in stillness, rhythmic soundscapes that slow the pulse.  Fire, shadow, and geometry that echo ancient patterns while remaining unmistakably present. Performances blur into participation, and strangers become collaborators. Memory is not archived; it is embodied. Meaning is not explained; it is felt.  Presence and the Eternal Now is not about escape, nostalgia, or anticipation. It is about arrival—into the only moment that exists, and the collective beauty that becomes possible when we meet it together.

We love large scale art that connects in spirit with the natural features of the landscape.  Smaller pieces are welcome as well, interactive works will be given priority!  

All submissions should be able to withstand sun, rain, wind, heat and humidity. We have shade structures on site that can be utilized to build covered tarped tented spaces. You must bring a team to assemble and disengage, we can provide the pieces.

Lighting and electricity *

(note- it is preferred that artists avoid the use of harsh, cool white light, in keeping with our Candle Vibe aesthetic.  2000-2600k is the preferred color temperature for lighting)

 Presentation needs (incl equipment or props) *
Does your work have particular needs *during* Country Club? Examples: electricity, a specific location, somewhere to hang it. (A follow up email will be sent to you to discusss details re: placement.
How much space do you need for your art? Please share square footage and/or approx. size needed to display your art (eg. 11ft. x 12ft).
Removal plans *
You are responsible for disengaging your piece. How complicated is it? Does removal require special tools or handling?
 Plan for transport from the event *
What are your plans for transporting your work from the event? Does the piece require a truck?
If you have photos/images/videos that you'd like to share of your artwork, you may submit them here as a link (eg. Google Drive Link, Google Photos Link, Dropbox, or upload via WeTransfer to obtain a link).
