New Chieftain Day 2018
We will be having a New Chieftain Day for rising 9th graders on August 22nd at the high school from 9:00-11:00. This will be a two-hour orientation to the high school led by upperclassmen, with a focus on getting to know the building, getting to know each other, and easing anxiety around the transition to high school. Let us know if you are planning to attend so that we can make all the right plans for activities and refreshment. Please fill out the form multiple times if you have multiple rising 9th graders in your family, and please do not fill out the form if you know for certain that you and/or your child will not be attending New Chieftain Day. All rising freshmen will participate in additional orientation activities on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 29th. We would also like to invite parents to attend a meeting with the Principal in the Auditorium the same day from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. to go over any questions you may have about Freshman year for your students.
What is your child's last name?
If you have more than one child who will be a 9th grader next year, fill out a new form for each child.
What is your child's first name?
Will your child attend New Chieftain Day?
The light breakfast will consist of bagels, yogurt, juice etc. . If your child has any dietary restrictions that might prevent him/her from eating "stereotypical" breakfast snacks, please give us a sense of alternative foods that we could provide.
This question is not intended to be a menu "wish list", but rather an attempt to provide alternative options for students needing them (e.g., gluten-free, food allergy).
A free T-Shirt will also be provided. What size does you child wear?
I will attend the parent session.
If "Yes", Parent Name (First and Last)
