Welcome to Kindergarten Round Up & Signing Day
Kindergarten is a special time in your child's life!  New for the 2026-2027 school year,  Eaton Rapids Public Schools is combining Kindergarten Round Up and Visitation Day together, as well as adding "Signing Day".  

Why Signing Day?  Just as athletes and other professionals have signing days to show their commitment to a team, we are having you and your child commit to their learning by becoming an Eaton Rapids Public Schools Greyhound!  

Round Up & Signing Day will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 in the Greyhound Central Elementary Gym, 912 S. Greyhound Drive, Door 11.   Parents and incoming Kindergarteners are invited to attend by selecting a time in this form.  Please refrain from bringing siblings if possible.  Your appointment will last about one (1) hour and there is a limit of fifteen (15) families per time slot.  

ERPS offers three (3) programs for children that will be five (5) years old by September 1, 2026 or five (5) by December 1, 2026 with a waiver on file.  Information about the different programs will be available at Round Up & Signing Day.  The programs are:  Developmental Kindergarten, Traditional Kindergarten or Montessori Kindergarten. 

Please Note:  If your child attended our Developmental Kindergarten program this year, they will automatically be enrolled in Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.  You do not need to attend this activity.

What else can parents and children expect at Kindergarten Round Up & Signing Day?
  • Introduction of teachers and staff
  • Hear about the different Kindergarten programs and curriculum
  • Social, emotional, and academic evaluation of the Kindergartener by one of our Kindergarten teachers
  • Get information and ask questions about what is required for entry into Kindergarten
  • Fill out and submit enrollment forms and/or supporting documentation 
  • Find out information about bussing 
  • Learn about Before & After Care Program
