Order form | INTER-VIEWS by Photovoice SG

INTER-VIEWS is a collection of work from Photovoice SG’s projects with four community groups from March 2012 to March 2013. This book features photovoice stories told in first-person by youth on the autism spectrum, the children of ex-inmates, young adults who have experienced or are at risk of psychosis, and persons living with HIV.

Photovoice is the concept of visual storytelling, told and created from the point of view of the personal subject. It offers an intimate look into the lives of people who may not have much visibility among us. As a participatory art, photovoice is about giving a voice to people who need to be seen, heard and understood for who they are, freed from the preconceptions and misunderstandings of wider society. It is about creating space for alternative stories and inviting others to listen.
