Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Imerman Angels Professionals Board! We appreciate your inquiry  about joining the Board and invite you to complete this online application. Please review the following Key Responsibilities and Board Requirements, and fill out all fields below and submit by our deadline of December 22, 2023.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate commitment to Imerman Angels' mission
  • Serve as public ambassador for Imerman Angels
  • Grow awareness
  • Raise funds
  • Engage community leaders in our mission
  • Forge and foster relationships and partnerships with corporations, businesses and organizations
  • Support official Imerman Angels events including the Imerman Angels Brunch Run 5K & Walk, Team Imerman Angels Events such as the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, third-party events and bar events
  • Manage Team Imerman Angels through recruiting efforts and supporting participants engaged in various races for Imerman Angels

Board Requirements

  • One-year term commencing in late 2023 and ending in late 2024
  • Attendance at 80% of meetings (the Professionals Board meets monthly – typically the second Wednesday – and committees will meet independently of the Board itself)
  • Assist in recruiting and volunteering at events or races throughout the year
  • Professionals Board members must give or get $700 through fundraising which, for instance, may include fundraising through a Team Imerman Angels event, soliciting (e.g. procuring items that offset expenses for the Brunch Run & Walk or Team Imerman Angels) and/or making a personal meaningful gift to Imerman Angels
  • Recruit 2 runners for Chicago Marathon
  • Create Brunch Run Team of 10 members
